Sliding windows are windows especially designed for those people who want an unobstructive view of the outside while at the same time still having the protection and functionality of a window. These windows are easy to use you just have to slide them from one another to open or close them. Window cleaning has been already a difficult task what more if you are cleaning a sliding window?
It is very important to decide the size and the location of sliding windows in your kitchen. You also need to plan the appliances and the cabinets that are to be kept near the windows. Also at what places you need your sliding windows like one on the outer wall that gives the view of place outside the house or one that can give you a good view of your house or at some place that can give you an easy access to the dinner. The kitchen sliding windows will look good at any of these places and it will surely complement any kind of kitchen.
You will then need to install the panels into the rails. This can be hard because they are designed to not fall out. There may be Velcro strips you can install on the inside of the head rail to secure the windows. This should also let you slip in the panels. The valance returns attach to joiners but you may have to trip excess fabric. Woven wooden valances come with an aluminium L joint in the corner that inserts into the panel. The last step is to install the cords which move the panels along the track.
You will have to gently raise the unit and slide the same in support brackets. Just mark a point where the unit hits the window. Now raise the window and attach the foam strip all along the line properly. If required just attach the extensions on the side wall by using the wood screws. If necessary attach the extensions on the side wall using wood screws. Perform application blocking. Perform application blocking up o the point where air conditioner comes in contact with window. This step will ensure proper sealing and would prevent any cold air from escaping.
