About BCHA
The museum was started in 1991 with an original collection belonging to Wilmer Wilcox. Without his collection, it would have been difficult for the museum to get started. For this reason, Wilmer Wilcox was given "full credit for making history live in Troy" by Museum Director, Lonnie Thomas. Once the museum was built, the community began to show great interest. Every year, new exhibits and showcases are added to keep things exciting and fresh.
